God’s promises and Jesus hasn’t quit

May I have your attention please. Please, may I have your attention. This note is to remind you of your right and privileges as a child of God. God promised you peace of mind, love, joy, happiness, good health, prosperity, a more abundant life and a closer relationship with him through having his son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. To my knowledge, there has not been a communication memo to you nor I in the last thirty nine years telling us that Jesus Christ quit on his job and that what God promised us is null and void. Correct? So please, stop giving room to worry, doubt, fear and anxiety about things that arise in your life that are contrary to God’s word. So when lack of any shape form or fashion comes, tell it to go. When poverty wants to strike, tell it to go back where it came from, when depression and sickness comes rebuke it in the name of Jesus and tell it that everything must bow down to the name of Jesus and cease from its works.
You are not a victim in this life but a victor. Jesus came so that you could have victory and success in every area of your life. If you are suffering in some area of your life you need to ask yourself why am I settling for this when God has promised me something positive? Then quickly, run like you are on fire to God asking God to take care of this area and to implement his promise. Then stand. Don’t be moved by what you see, hear, smell or feel. Don’t be moved by your circumstance or by other people. Just stand and don’t pick it back up. Have faith and believe in God for the victory in that area. And it will surely come.
God’s promises can be found in Deuteronomy 28:1-13. There you will find that God promised to bless your home, your work, your family, your body. He promised to make you a leader, a lender, and prosperous. He promised to bless you in the present and in the future. He promised to go before you and bless your coming and going. He promised if an enemy comes at you in one direction that they will flee you in seven directions. And he promised so much more. Read it for yourself and you will get excited because in essence God has promised you a wonderful life. He wants you to be happy. He wants you to be prosperous and he wants you to be excited about getting up each day and praising his name because he is a great God.

So just like you haven’t quit your job, know that Jesus hasn’t quit his. God hasn’t quit on you either. So keep living on purpose. Don’t settle for nothing less than the best in every area of your life because that is what you deserve. You are special.

What God has ordained for your life, no man can take away from you. Your blessings have a predetermined time, for a predetermined appointment to meet you. Sarah laughed at the angels when they told Abraham she would be pregnant in her old age. All her life she wanted to have children and it didn’t happen. How could it possibly happen when she was 90? But God promised Abraham his child by his wife, Sarah and God keeps his word. Is there something God promised you and you feel like it will never show up? Perhaps peace and prosperity are alluding you. A spouse or elevation on your job. Living out your passion in a new career. Do you think it will not happen? My friend I am here to tell you, God is faithful. What he has promised you will come to pass. Have patience. The message for this year is PEACE, BE STILL, KNOW THAT I AM GOD. God wants you to know that he sees you exactly where you are at and knows your heart. He is moving situations and people in your favor. He is working out your circumstances so that the blessing will come. And it will surely come on time, in such a way that you know his hand was in it. Sometimes we ask why not before? Why not on my timeframe? Perhaps you weren’t ready before now. Or you wouldn’t have given God the glory for the miracle he is performing. Maybe the wait got you in a mode of thankfulness and appreciation you would not have had before. Plain and simply, it wasn’t time.

But a delay doesn’t mean a denial, just a bigger delivery.

So get ready for your blessing.

In your wait sin not. Groan not. Be of good cheer. Prepare for your blessing. Get ready to receive for the designated time will be here as it should.

Remember, God sees all and knows all. He knows your heart and will bless you. So be patient. You are special.

For anyone reading, if you were never taught how to love, you can learn to love yourself by first realizing this truth: YOU ARE LOVABLE and GOD LOVES YOU! These are two facts. How do you know this? In Psalms 139 it says “for you created my most inmost being: you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth your eyes saw my unformed body.” Earlier in Psalms 139 it says “Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?…even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”
If God loving put you together, you know that you are not a mistake, were made on purpose and have a purpose. That you are special. Special enough to be formed by God himself. Therefore you are lovable and God loves you.
Second, you pick something about yourself that you like. It can be something small, but whatever it is, its yours. Love it. Loving it means taking care of it and nurturing it. And after you done that, pick something else about you and so on until you have done your whole body. Remember at all times you are special. Be gentle with yourself! : )
I remember when I started the process of loving and liking me. The only thing that I could find about myself that I truly liked were my feet.  So what did I do? I got some Victoria Secret Lotion Pear Glace. I would loving lotion my feet everyday. Then eventually my mother bought me a gold toe ring for one foot and I bought myself a gold toe ring for the other. My feet felt loved. I felt loved. Then I picked something else about myself I liked. My hands. I started to get manicures, and to keep my hands moisturized. My hands felt loved. I felt loved. I felt myself loving and liking me. Then I said to myself, this feels good. Let me do this to my whole body. And that’s how I learned to love and like me.
What works for you may be different. Maybe it its your eyes, or hair, your pretty smile, or ears. Whatever it is, start some where.
Just know this. Regardless of the lies you were told growing up or even are hearing now, you are very special and deserve to love and like yourself. You should be having a love affair with yourself because if no one else on the planet is showing you love, you are showing yourself love. In the bible it tells you tell to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Most people focus on the love thy neighbor part. The key to the scripture is love thyself. You cant give love if you dont know love. You can only give like. And there is a difference between liking and loving. Liking makes you loyal to something or someone and you are using your brain to process these emotions.  Loving makes you feel with your heart, mind, body and spirit. It is unconditional, it goes the extra mile and takes you into the type of love that God feels for you.
Jesus asked us to dos one thing because he wanted us to feel what he felt for us. Jesus also loved himself. How do I know? In order to love us so well and unconditionally give of himself, he had to first love himself unconditionally. He could only give to us what he was able to give to himself.
Do you want to see your life improve, relationships be better and you be happier? Make sure you are loving all of yourself as best you can.

Have you ever felt like you are running on “E”? Like you have exhausted all the strength that you have and are bone marrow tired? How do you refuel and recharge so that your light shines bright again? This labor day i want to remind you of one of our scriptures power principle Philippians 4:13 ” I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me”. Simply uttering and believing in the name “Jesus” will refill and recharge your battery, clear up and out your circumstances and take you to the next level. The way to make sure your faith is in place is to believe whole heartily in the name of Jesus and to pray to God and ask him to forgive you for all of your sins and for you to forgive others. Then ask him for a fresh anointing over you. Once you do that, believe that you received it and you will see your energy change and your circumstances move in your favor.
On another note, I want you to keep on believing for double portion of God’s favor, grace and mercy in every area in your life. I dont care what the circumstances look like, what other people say or even your negative feelings that may pop up because faith is not a feeling, it is a belief system. a conscious choice on your part. And it will surely happen. Your part over the next couple of months is simply to believe and not to flinch on your belief and you will surely be rewarded by God.
Lastly know that fall is a good time to clean out your inner circle from people and things that dont belong. Not everyone is going to go with you to the next level or should be with you in the season you are in now. Discernment. Ask for discernment and wisdom to know who is to stay and who is to go. God will direct you.
Well praise God that you have a roof over your head, clothing on your back and food on your table and are surviving this depression the economy is in, you are blessed. Never forget that.

God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Sometimes we lose our minds literally thinking whatever we are going through God can’t handle and deliver us from. Are you serious? What problem can you have that the creator of this universe can not see you through? What issue is too big for God?

So while you are thinking about what to do in your life:which way to turn or how you are going to make it in this world remember to humble yourself and seek God’s face.

The question to ask yourself is not why me, but God thank you for it being me, so that I can come and spend quality time with you while you work out this hot mess.

In my own life, I’ve shared with you on the radio two weeks ago and last week in this blog, I hit a serious wall and detour on my road to recovery for a disease I have April-July. How do you come back from where I just been, how do you make it through what I am going through right now? Let Go and let God. Once I did that I was able to exhale and rest. Rest soundly as God has brought me through the fire. And if he can do it for me, he can definitely do it for you.

Don’t be afraid to fall or to try or to take risks or worry about what others may think about you, do you. The only person you need to care about judging you is God, only God can and will judge you, everyone else in the scheme of things does not matter.

Well until next week, you keep on keeping on and remember that you are very very special and deserve nothing but the best that life has to offer and you can and will have it in the name of Jesus.

What’s in your heart? That’s the most important question you should be asking yourself today. Sometimes we lose our way, we hit a detour on our journey and figuring out what’s in our heart may be hard to do when you hit the wall. That’s why knowing what’s in your heart ahead of time is critical.
I am proud to say I know what’s in your heart. As a body of Taboo Talk listeners we have memorized and believed in three scriptures: Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me”, Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible” and Psalms 23:1 “For the lord is my shepherd, I shall not want”.
With those three things in your heart the world is yours. And you can come back from anything and achieve any goal that you set out to do.
On another note. We are entering the fourth quarter of the year and soon we will be in December. I am excited to know that you and I have a big surprise waiting for us at the end of the year. At the end of last year I gave the prophetic word to expect double portion of god’s favor grace and mercy in every area in 2009. 3/4’s of the year has passed. Hasn’t it been an awesome year for you? I know the beginning of the year for me was pure magic and the ending will be too. So keep on believing and standing in faith for your breakthrough, it will surely come.
I want you to know that you are special and deserving of only the best life has to offer. Accept nothing less.
