December 16, 2009 Appearance on the Dr.Oz show as a Mental Health Educator/Advocater


 

Lady Charmaine Day was selected by NAMI-NYC to audition to speak about living and recovering from depression on the Dr.Oz show. She was then selected by Dr.Oz's producers to be one of seven women on a panel discussing the topic. "Educating people about manic depression/bipolar disorder/depression and giving them realistic strategies for recovery is something that I am passionate about. I am truly grateful to Dr. Oz and NAMI-NYC for the opportunity to reach out to the world to help others on the road of recovery. Everyone at the Dr.Oz show was amazing and they made speaking about a sensitive topic very natural.
